Feast In Abundance

“Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and delight yourself in abundance. Incline your ear and come to Me. Listen that you may live”
Isaiah 55: 2-3

For the past three days I have been sharing with you from the Scripture that says “the priests who are near to the Lord shall eat the most holy things” (Ezekiel 42:13). This passage from Isaiah explains the practical application of this process.

As priests unto our Lord, it is our first desire, delight, and ministry to incline our ears and come to Him, Jesus Christ our High Priest, in His presence. It is when we are in His presence, listening to Him and “ministering to the Lord” (Acts 13:2), that we profoundly realize that here is our true food, the word of God, and this is our true delight, being in His abundance, the abundance of our Lord Jesus Christ Himself.

In His presence we truly do “eat what is good,” namely Himself, our Bread of Life.

The more we come into the presence of Jesus and listen carefully, the more we “live” and delight ourselves in the abundance of our Lord.

The bread of this world will never satisfy your soul and the wages of this world can never bring your genuine inner-being delight in abundance. But every time you incline your heart to your Lord and step into His presence, as a priest of His presence, you step into a feast!

Oh Yes, incline your ear and come to Him today. Listen that you may live. Listen carefully to Jesus and eat what is good. Eat His life giving words in His life renewing presence.

“Delight yourself in the Lord,” realize and tell Him that He, Himself, is the desire of your heart “and He will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:4).

Bless His name in His presence as His priest today. Hallelujah!
